DREAMING ORGANISM

Dreaming Organism includes a video collage composed of selected clips recorded mainly during the years 2020 and 2021. The same video is projected directly on white bed covers with a white pillow, placed on the floor. A text appears on the pillow, which is part of the video itself, properly woven through the collages and thus putting the stories in context. Visitors are allowed to insert themselves into the intima between the beam and the floor and to experience the work through the use of the covers. The work takes us to a semi-documentary semi-magical archive without a clear straight line between physical and mental experience, past and future. It is intimate but recognizable to everyone. It exists to convey a sense of poetics in boredom, romance in the permanence of microcosms, to evoke the magic of memories, to allocate space for daydreaming, to give hope for the future by reinterpreting the past at the speed of thoughts travel.
